The subject of this animation is inspired by the observation of New Yorkers where time and space are both in short supply in a big city.

Storyboard
Our first Introduction to Animation assignment was to make a stop-motion animation. We worked in groups for this assignment. First, we met with my group members and discussed about story ideas. We decided on the storyboard and how we will shoot the scenes. In our project, evolution of this character was crucial. We decided the born of the character from an ink of a pen. The process of coming alive from an ink to a body achieved by drawing. Right after the character comes alive with a body, we continued with puppets by handcutted body parts. Material used are colorful pencils, colorful cardboards. For the movement of the puppet we changed the location of each part of the body in a different way, so that the puppet looks like a human walking in a way. We took 2 shots for each scene, than edited in Adobe After Effects. We added some sounds which I believe very important and make the character moves and actions more effective.
